George Walter "Sarge" Connally

Debuted on September 10, 1921 and struck out Larry Woodall to begin his MLB career. Threw a 10-Inning Complete Game on June 25, 1924, a 2-1 win over Cleveland. Threw a 14-Inning Complete Game on July 26, 1924 against the Yankees in which he held Babe Ruth-Bob Meusel-Wally Pipp to a combined 5x19 with six strikeouts (Ruth struck out twice, Meusel three times). In his first start for Cleveland in 1931, Connally faced the reigning champion Philadelphia Athletics, and struck Jimmie Foxx out three times, something that only happened to the Hall of Famer 39 times in 2317 career games. 

Won 10 games in 1927. Finished in the AL Top 10 in games pitched three times (1924, 1927, and 1933). Finished 3rd in the AL in Saves twice, and in the Top 10 five times.
