Welcome to Diamond To Dust

Yes and, well, hello. Welcome to the Diamond To Dust Project, in which my family and I make an effort to place a baseball on the tombstones of as many former MLB players - no matter how much Service Time they got - as possible. I used data from Baseball-Reference and Find A Grave to create a Google Map of cemeteries where these former Major Leaguers are buried. We'll place the baseball, do a write-up on here, and post to Instagram and Twitter. It's a way to honor the people who have done what so few others could do. And I get to drive around a little bit. It would have been great to have had this idea when everything was locked down, but whaddayagonnado. Enjoy the ride.
